What is the treatment for a Poor Airway?
Many doctors prescribe a CPAP to force oxygen into the body when one has a poor airway. This does not fix the root cause or the poor airway and is very uncomfortable to wear. Instead Dr. George will look to fix the root cause of the poor airway by correcting skeletal bone, muscle and posture. These improvements serve a lifetime solution to better sleep, energy and brain function.

What appliances does Dr. George use?
Dr. George is trained to know when to prescribe each of the following while working with a renowned airway specialist team of referrals. It is likely that a sleep study and 3D cone beam will be needed before any recommendations are made.

  • Myobrace
  • Myomunchee
  • AGGA

How Long Do I need to wear an appliance?
Treatment times do vary, but you can estimate about 2 years of consistent wear to see results.

Which Appliance Do I need?
Dr. George will design the airway expansion appliance after looking at your 3D Scan, Facial features, and other oral features. She will not simply place a patient in an expansion appliance, but will carefully use diagnostics to decide which appliance will be best fitting for each persons situation.
